This photograph of an oil painting of McConnell hangs now in the house he built for his family on North McKean Street in Kittanning, Pennsylvania; see a photo of this house elsewhere on this page.  The building now is home to the Armstrong County Museum and Genealogical Society.  It is known locally as the McCain House.  Thanks to McConnell descendant Barbara Guilliams for sharing this image.
